A space to understand your brain, build what works, and feel less alone in it.
Sounds familiar?
These are some of the things my clients bring to coaching.
01
Motivation disappears
No matter how much something matters to you, your brain won't always cooperate. It's not a willpower problem.
02
Energy comes in waves
Some days you can do everything. Other days, getting out of bed is the whole achievement. There's no predicting it.
03
Masking takes its toll
You hold it together in front of others and crash the moment you're alone. It costs more than people realise.
04
Shame builds up
Years of being told you're lazy or not trying hard enough leave a mark. That inner critic isn't yours, but it feels like it.
05
Mood swings out of nowhere
One small thing can shift your entire day. The highs are high, the lows are low, and the switch can feel instant.
How coaching helps
We explore how you specifically think, what drains you, what energises you, and where you get stuck. No generic frameworks.
Most systems weren't designed for neurodivergent brains. We find what works for yours, practical and flexible.
Years of living in a neurotypical world can leave a mark. Coaching creates space to be kinder to yourself and redirect that energy.
I coach from lived experience. You're thinking out loud with someone who genuinely understands.
Who I work with
You don't need a piece of paper to start.
But honestly, if any of this page resonates with you, we can probably work together.
What clients say
βMat completely changed how I view my ADHD diagnosis.β
βFrom the first session, he created a supportive, non-judgmental space where I felt safe to open up. Knowing he has ADHD himself made it even easier to unpack areas of my life I wanted to improve.β
βWe covered topics like my all or nothing thinking, inner voice & setting boundaries, and Mat always provided practical tools, education, and insight from his own experience.β
βI've had some major realisations about how I live my life [β¦] I now feel much more confident in my diagnosis.β

About your coach
Mat Krol
ADHD Coach & Developer
I'm Mat. I was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult. I spent 8 years in tech startups, wearing many hats and quietly figuring out how my brain works along the way.
I trained as an integrative coach at Barrett Coaching, accredited by the Association for Coaching. I believe coaching is one of several pillars that can support neurodivergent people, alongside education, medication, and therapy. My approach blends structured coaching with psychoeducation, and always starts small.
I'm queer, I care about creating genuinely inclusive spaces, and I believe coaching should feel like a conversation, not a performance review.
FAQ
Still not sure? That's what the discovery call is for.
Book a discovery callNo. Coaching is one of several pillars that can help, alongside education, medication, and therapy. Where therapy helps you make peace with the past, coaching focuses on your present and future. If we uncover something that needs deeper support, I'll be honest and help you find the right person.
No formal diagnosis required. If ADHD resonates with your experience, the patterns, the frustrations, the way you describe your brain, that's enough for us to start.
Life happens, especially with ADHD. You get one free reschedule per package, even up to an hour before, no questions asked. Beyond that, 24 hours' notice and we'll find a new slot. No-shows without notice count as a used session, but I'll always send a reminder beforehand.
Yes, many employers will fund coaching as professional development. I can provide proper invoices for reimbursement.
We review together in session 6. Options: another 6-session package, lighter monthly check-ins, or a clean and positive wrap-up. Entirely your call.
Absolutely. Most of my clients haven't either. The discovery call is the perfect place to ask anything and see whether it feels right. No experience needed, just curiosity.
